Rough Design of Double Page Spread with Notes and Annotation
This is only a rough design that I have made on Photoshop so that I could practise using the programme more and get some idea of what I want to do.
Since designing this double page spread, I have thought further into what I want to include and if the layout is suitable. I decided that having a photo on the crease of a page wouldn’t be totally suitable and the power of Robyn (my models) facial expressions would not be as strong in the image; they may be slightly distorted and spoilt.
I have now decided to change the layout style to what is seen in this image, I will have one main image that is large and covers the majority of one page, and then maybe include some others little pictures around the two pages.
Contents Page With Notes and Annotation
This is a very basic design for the contents and looks very dull. The contents page will feature a mix of different pictures from artists that will be included within the magazine. I want my cover story to stand out on the contents page, as the person in it is an upcoming artist and I want to draw people in to read the article.
The main story that I want people to read will be in a larger font and positioned in a place where more people are likely to see it.
